FCCU is your reliable, relatable Financial Institution. As a credit union, we are a cooperative financial institution and we base our decisions on our owners. Every member has the same share, the same say, no matter how much money is in your account. If you’re a member, you’re an owner — it’s as simple as that. We are community based and community focused. FCCU is here to help all our 22,000+ member-owners achieve their financial dreams. We offer a full suite of financial products including personal loans, mortgage loans, checking and savings accounts, financial planning, financial literacy and many things in between.
Why did you choose to join the Whitewater Chamber of Commerce?
FCCU is proud to be a member of the Whitewater Chamber of Commerce to invest in and serve our local community.
What benefits have you received through your membership?
Being a member of the chamber provides many benefits including networking and advertising opportunities. We appreciate having our press releases and business news shared with other members via the website and email list.

Who do you serve? Who is your target market?
Membership is open to anyone living or working in Dane, Dodge, Jefferson, Rock, Walworth, and Waukesha Counties.
Who is the team?
FCCU has a volunteer board of directors and is lead by Sue Johnson, president & CEO. We have eighty team members and just over 22,000 members.
Why did you choose Whitewater?
FCCU joined the Whitewater community in 1999 when we merged with the Whitewater Community Credit Union. A new 3,800 sq ft office opening on October 25, 2000 and still serves our Whitewater members at 203 E Milwaukee St.
What is a good referral for you?
The mission of FCCU is to put each of our members in a better financial position than when we met them. Refer members who are looking for a primary financial institution, who would like to switch for lower fees and better rates.
What was your company's latest and greatest achievement?

Are any of your employees alumni/alumnus of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater? Do You collaborate or partner with the university?
We have hired current and past students from UWW. At times we have internships and part-time positions available that would be good for students. When the opportunities are available they can be found on our website.
We LOVE to present to classrooms – financial literacy is a major focus for us. We offer a lot of free resources for classrooms as well as adults. We love to give presentations.
