INCIDENT NARRATIVE:
At approximately 704 PM, Whitewater Fire and EMS responded to a structure fire at Twin Oaks Mobile Home Park in the City of Whitewater. The occupants were not home at the time the fire started. They returned home for the evening and were met with smoke conditions upon opening the front door. They immediately evacuated and called 911. The trailer was completely engulfed in flames upon arrival of the first fire company. The fire quickly spread to a pair of vehicles that were parked in close proximity to the fire building. An aggressive attack by Engine 121 halted the spread of the fire, preventing the neighboring trailer and shed from catching fire.
There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters. The fire is not suspicious in nature.
Whitewater Fire/EMS was assisted on scene by Lauderdale-LaGrange Engine 141, and the Lauderdale-LaGrange Chief.
