Member Involvement Committees

Ambassadors Committee
The Ambassadors Committee coordinates activities and events that help to welcome and on-board new members, businesses, and residents. These events include ribbon cuttings, annual new teachers breakfast, new resident welcome information, the annual membership drive, and member recruitment activities.

Community Engagement & Fundraising
This committee coordinates events and activities designed to engage and build relationships with the community and provide fundraising opportunities for the Chamber. Events include Ghoul’s Night Out, Windows of Whitewater, and an annual Fall Community Celebration.

Spirit Tour & Storytelling Festival
These are the two largest events that the Chamber hosts each year. The annual Spirit Tour highlights Whitewater’s spirit history and provides spooky fun in October. The Storytelling Festival, a new annual event, celebrates all the ways to tell and enjoy the art of storytelling. Both events embrace the history of Whitewater and our love of the arts!

Partner Connection & Recruitment Committee
This committee helps to plan and execute events and activities that facilitate member engagement. The events this committee focus on include the Annual Spring Celebration & Awards Dinner, Business Over Breakfast, Business After Hours, Workshop/Seminars, and other social & networking activities.

Retail
This committee is dedicated to supporting and growing retail activity in the city of Whitewater. The committee organizes events and activities that draw traffic to our retail zones. The events include the annual Maxwell Street Sidewalk Sale Days, Shop Small Saturday, and regular social media promotions events.
